Still Check
Line checks, ringing out and polarity checks in one plugin.
Also in the Soundcheck bundle
What it does
Still Check is the soundcheck toolbox. The generator plays pink or white noise, a sine, a log sweep or a polarity pulse to both sides, one side, or alternating left and right so you can find which speaker is which.
A 1/3-octave analyzer reads the mic, a polarity checker tells you if anything is wired backwards, and a correlation meter shows if two mics fight. The generator always opens switched off.
Key features
- Pink, white, sine, log sweep and polarity pulse
- Send to both, left, right or alternating
- 31-band 1/3-octave analyzer with averaging and peak hold
- Polarity checker (Correct / Reversed) and L/R correlation
Quick start
- Insert on a channel or the main bus — nothing changes until you start the generator.
- Line check: Sine 1 kHz at −20 dBFS, Send to Both.
- Which speaker is which? Pink, Alternate L/R.
- Polarity: play Pulse into the speaker with the mic in front and read Correct or Reversed.

GOOD TO KNOW
Polarity needs a sharp sound — the Pulse, a clap or a tap — close to the mic. A 1 kHz sine at −20 dBFS reads −20.0 dB in its band.
