Still Limit
Zero-latency brickwall limiter with a loudness panel, Listen on device checks and an A/B reference player.
Also in the Livestream & Broadcast bundle
What it does
Still Limit holds the output under the ceiling you set. Gain drops on the exact sample that would go over, so the ceiling holds without lookahead. A hold stage keeps it from riding single low-frequency cycles, which keeps bass clean.
The loudness panel measures output to EBU R128 against a delivery target, and the Listen on row lets you hear how the mix translates to a phone, laptop, earbuds, a car or a TV.
Key features
- Instant attack, hold and release; stereo link from 0 to 100%
- Gain-reduction history plus In, GR and Out meters
- Short-term, integrated, momentary, range and true peak against a delivery target
- Listen on: Phone, Laptop, Earbuds, Nearfield, Car, TV, Mono — level-matched, always starts Off
- A/B reference: a song in B, loudness-matched to A; loop or follow the DAW
Quick start
- Start with Ceiling −1 dB, Hold 2–5 ms, Release 50–150 ms.
- Raise Input until gain reduction just moves on the loudest parts.
- For a livestream, pick the Live stream target and watch Short-term.
- Check translation with Listen on, then set it back to Off before the show.

|---|---|---|

| Ceiling | −24 to 0 dB | Maximum output peak level. |
| Release | 5 to 1000 ms | How fast the gain recovers. |
| Hold | 0 to 20 ms | Holds the gain before release, for less distortion on bass. |
| Stereo link | 0 to 100% | At 100%, both sides are limited together. |
| Loudness target | 8 targets | The target the loudness panel compares against. |
| Listen on | 8 choices | Off, Phone, Laptop, Earbuds, Nearfield, Car, TV, Mono. |

GOOD TO KNOW
It is a sample-peak limiter: true peak can read slightly above the ceiling, so use −2 dB for streams. Listen on and B change what goes to the PA — they're for checks only.
